Hello all you thinkers out there. I'm hoping that this is a step in the right direction for me as I've grown weary of hearing educated, otherwise intelligent adults speaking seriously about invisible, all powerful, all seeing, all hearing, all 'caring' entities that somehow 'need' thank you's to feed their egos and prayers to know how to do their universe management job.

I agree. I work in education and there are Mormons in my department. I have to say that I avoid them. I think they must be a little crazy. Sounds judgemental. Sorry, not sorry.

Very well said. I'm enjoying this site because I spent my entire working life being the "token" tree hugging, granola crunching, birkenstock wearing liberal in an office (and family) full of rabid republicans. I didn't dare tell anyone that I also was not into their version of "christianity" - no telling what the retribution for that would have been! So now I'm retired - keep more to myself these days and finally fell free to be...just me.
