It is always great to have that sense of belonging. I don't have many people to share things with myself and even then I am very secretive. Most often I don't feel comfortable enough to say what is really on my mind, therefore, I tend to keep most of everything inside, away from prying eyes. I have found that this site is so much different than other sites and I just might, someday, lower my defenses and open up more and more.

Enjoy it, and try to remember those feelings when you need to.

Good for you. There is nothing like waking up with a positive attitude to make your day go well. It is now after 7 in the evening here, but I’ve had a quiet and uneventful day. I don’t mind that, I enjoy my own company and I have plans made for tomorrow. Being solitary and being lonely are quite different things and I would never trivialise the feeling of isolation and loneliness some people experience. I hope like me it is a self imposed solitude you are experiencing and that you have friends you can call on if you feel you need company. I like your sentiments and actually know what you mean as I too have that feeling towards certain people because of their responses to my posts. We are sympatico! Enjoy the rest of your day. ? ?

Back at you! There are many here that make my day a better one...I laugh, I cry, I learn, I feel hope...yeah, men and women who are just a small part of my daily world even though we have never met...it is important to be part of a community.

Glad to see that this place makes you happier than you were. I would be happy , too, if I had not started the day burning potatoes. But, somebody here know the hack for getting the pot clean. It is raining today here in New York, a fine change from the brutal heat and high humiodity we had. I am almost ready to start cooking again. And yes, there is a cricket in the house somewhere.
