I'd say it's not only normal it could be considered healthy. I miss my mom and dad like a lost limb, and there are times I do just that.

It happens though I have been known to burn such things in the middle of the living room.

Hah! Digital photos, so that's not happening!

@Nottheonlyone I would so use a heat gun to melt the media. (Heat guns can be used to make great toasted marshmallows, too.)

Both. Photos of the kids when they were little. Photos of the ex when we were happy. All of it.

@Nottheonlyone well sounds like a cathartic exercise we all feel maudlin at times
