Are there any college students on here who are part of the Secular Student Alliance or another nonreligious organization?

I was part of the SSA at my campus (NIU) when I was an undergrad--as a grad student now, I simply don't have the time for it. It was a great opportunity. In my time with them, we hosted speakers like Hemant Mehta and Dan Barker and Annie Laurie-Gaylor from the FFRF, among many others. And more importantly I made some great friendships there.

Amazing! I really like Hemant's work. We had David Silverman of American Atheists come speak at UTSA. My friends at SSA are some of the best people I've ever met.

They say college is where you make the most memories after all.

Did your chapter get heckled a lot?
