Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I worked once for the Alaska State Housing Authority as the Public Information Officer and Planner II right after the quake of 1964 in redesigning the cities of Valdez and Kodiak, plus working directly with Lidia Selkregg, then State Geologist/Planner. She was a wonderful woman.
Also worked all over the interior in various capacities -- and for 'romance' I operated a placer gold claim on the Jack Wade Creek about 85 miles from Dawson City, Yukon Territory. Just some fun memories. The fellow, George Robinson, named in the following article was my closest neighbor, about 5 miles upstream, and great storyteller. He too was a wonderful person.
