A lesson for a life time, lol

Treat salmon like steak. One minute on each side and it is ready to go!

I grilled salmon and corn on the cob for supper tonight. The salmon had been on the fridge for six days. After thinking about your comment I eyed it warily but it still looked and smelled good ! (And was the type that was sealed ).

How to adjust my digital profile at work.

Warped minds think alike. I had salmon for lunch -- at restaurant. 🙂

I learned that the calibration runs for the tool that measures the distortion in the graphite bricks of an advanced gas cooled nuclear reactor have to be accurate to within .001 of a millimeter to be accepted.

I learned, yesterday .... if things are not going well, just go back to bed or enjoy the couch... dropped drill on my toe then tried to drill through my thumb followed by the attack of the fire ants while weeding....

Yeah, don't eat leftover seafood. Never a good idea.

I've learned that I need more sleep, but that's an ongoing lesson with me.

I live in BC and sockeye salmon NEVER has a chance of going off. It is devoured or canned or smoked but it is really hard to keep lit so you need a lot of that famous BC bud to keep it going..

Salmon is one of my favorites! So I learned that I probably like you.

Ew... that sounds like a bummer...

I learned that I really prefer to have the capacity to do things anywhere at anytime in order to feel happy in spite of having a very ordered day. For example: if I can't decide to brush my teeth, shave, get a workout, look up something... right at that moment, then I get antsy. I think it is why I can have a pretty structured day and not have it bother me.

I learned how to make flaxseed hair gel........works wonders for us curly/wavy haired gals.

Please share! I have a daughter who is a curly girl.

Yes! Please share!

Okay, my curly brethren, here it is!
Add 1/4 C whole flaxseeds to 2C water (I use distilled for purity's sake). While stirring, bring to full boil (it will get foamy). Simmer 5 minutes while you continue to stir. Strain, and put into airtight container. Will keep in fridge for 3 weeks. You can add essential oils for scent(I used a blend of sandalwood and patchouli, added after I strained). The oil may separate, but when you rub gel between your hands, it blends well. Gel is gooey, egg white consistency, but not sticky. I'm loving it, especially because it is natural, with no "bad" stuff in it. Enjoy! 😉

Condolences, hope you're feeling better. I learned how to save my post to Google Calendar, which is an accomplishment for me.

I learned that I can stay connected to my heart/compassion for someone while at the same time holding sadness and anger.

Today I learned that dates in a month are in numerical order.

That sucks. Hope you feel better soon.

Today I learned that I should have looked up the substitution ratio of
lemon zest to lemon juice BEFORE actually trying the recipe.

@Redcupcoffee, I would guess that @KKGator ended up making some strange faces.

@Redcupcoffee Chicken with greek yogurt, lemon (!!!), garlic and parmesean. It was edible, but a "little" too on the tangy side. I'll try it
again, but with less lemon.

I learned that when one is tweaking on meth it is because they have gotten as high as they can, and they know their crash is inevitable

I learned how to replace the mowing belt (10 feet long) on my zero turn riding mower. Quite the challenge and yes there were some expletive words uttered in the process! ha ha

A couple of weeks ago I learned something similar - how to change the belt wheel, spindle & the blades.
