Women (unless you guys have real input), have you ever colored your hair blond? Do you still? What are your reasons?
I was blond until high school, then dishwater brown, then as a statement I would color all shades of red because I wanted that more wild look, black and even did a bit of purple. Now I am going naturally gray.

I heard this interesting interview today about coloring the hair blond as being more 'white'. Listen to the link below and comment as well.

Please stick to the subject, thanks.

I was naturally dark brown. Now I'm dark brownand gray mixed together. I dye my hair burgundy. I love it. I don't think I'd look good as a blond.

I am part Japanese with nearly pitch black hair. My sister decided to go blonde so she goes through this incredible process to get there....she looks great with blonde hair. I did it for a year and felt so unnatural...it cost a lot of money and took way too much time to maintain. I didn't think it did anything for me, so I went back to my natural dark color.

I say, whatever makes you feel your best, go for it!

I dyed my hair, eyebrows, mustache, and goatee blonde once - just to be different. I was a divisional controller at a multi-billion $$ corporation where most at my level or above were conservative. It was fun.

My hair has been lots of shades of blond or red. I started putting Sun In or Lemon Go Lightly in my hair in high school. I was blond as a kid but as I got older it got darker. I have used Henna in my hair too. That mostly turned it red. Every time I go have it dyed blond it turns red for two weeks and then turns blond. I only have to go about once a year though because it blends fairly well when it grows out and I just wear it in a pony tail in the summer anyway.

I had my hair lightened a few times to be able to dye it other colors like cherry red or pink or purple. I have never worn it blond.

I'm naturally blonde, but dye my hair a few times a year a variety of colors

$64,000 question... DO blondes have more fun?

Hey, do what makes you happy.. don't they have as non permanent product that you can change on a whim ?

I was blond as a child and it started to go darker in my teens. It looks better blond! I don't do it to look whiter

I guess i wanted to try all kinds of colors at some point. Blond didn't look good on me. I'm back to natural brown now.

I was born blonde and as I grew it became a dirty dishwater blonde then around fifteen, I started getting it frosted, and really liked the blonde in it. By eighteen, I was using Sun In, and then progressed into full fledged dying all the way blonde by twenty and stayed that way until about 10 months ago. So for more than forty years I was a blonde, now I am a redhead. I am going to say that I believe being blonde did actually benefit me in a lot of ways....many, many men find blondes very exciting for some reason. They think we have some kind of "super passion" or something crazy like that. I have been let go of for a few speeding tickets, even let go on a dui (this was back in the 80's), I've been given gifts that I did not ask for, and I believe it helped me get jobs. Sure, I was fairly attractive when I was younger, but I am certain that my long blonde hair hanging down my back in big curls helped me get out of (and into) more trouble than say, my brunette sister.

Don't have enough hair on my head to color and even though I have enough on my body probably don't think it's a good idea...?

When i was a toddler it was blond with a little red. It is now dark blond/red color that try as I might i can't find the right dye for. I like the red. I'm so pasty I'm pretty sure blond hair would darn near make me invisible.

I see pretty brunettes more appealing and attractive than blondes. I also prefer dark haired men to blonde haired men. I have dated blonde men though. It's not a deal breaker.

"Dishwater" blond, here. Dyed my hair thrice, I think: red in HS, blue in college, and brown or auburn or something later. Meh, meh, and meh.

I've had two buzz cuts in the past two years. Hair is not my thing.

I bleached my hair. Kinda liked it, until I went bald.

Gentlemen prefer blondes.

I go back and forth between blonde and interesting colours nowadays. My hair grows in a kind of ditchwater desaturated almost-blonde that I have always hated. I've been brunette, I've been ginger and, even though ginger suits my complexion best, I stick with blonde for pretty much one reason--I can wear whatever colour I want when blonde.
