I refuse to answer the question, lol 😉

Ray Charles. He could and did sing jazz, country, rock, r&b, and sell all of them, and l don't me record sales. Hell, even his McDonalds commercials were good. The only other singers l ever heard who could sing just about any genre really well and did were Linda Ronstadt and Bonnie Raitt.

Mike Patton male. Bjork Gudmunsdottir female. My 2c.

Prolly Pavarotti or some shit but I'mma go with Janis Joplin or Freddie Mercury.

Freddie Mercury. I would also put in votes for Paul Rodgers of Bad Company and of course Aretha Franklin.

Freddie runs a close second for me. Below Mike Patton, above Chris Cornell.

I can think of some other names, Wendy, but I happen to agree with you. Jay Black also comes to mind of Jay and the Americans.

It's either Cyndi Lauper, Maria Tallchief, Frank Sinatra, Oleta Adams, Harry Connick, Jr., Judy Garland, Freddie Mercury, Sting, or Cleo Laine. I'm stumped.

I believe that Marian Anderson was the greatest singer that this country ever produced.
