I recently joined a couple of other free dating sites, and I am quite open about being atheist. When someone looks appealing, of course I check out their profile. What do y'all think about my automatic deletion of anyone's message if their profile says "Christian", "Baptist", or whatever, under religious beliefs? Am I being intolerant, or just time-effective?

Friends have told me nothing but horror stories, especially my female friends. Lots of lies. On the radio the other day, a survey found men on dating sites should say country music is their favorite and women, classic rock. Telling people to lie and deceive.

Any man who says he likes Gospel or country music gets deleted/blocked.

Be very cautious with the online dating sites,I'm a Widower, having lost my wife last Sept. to lung cancer, the sites are set up to prey on your loneliness,I've been scammed for about $1K a few months ago, gift cards and other things.

The paid for memberships are more than happy to take your money with no guarantee of success. I've used about all you can think of no dates, lots or interest but most decent women are too far away. If you research the sites for complaints, not many have positive ratings, some with one star, not 5.....

If you are clear about what you want then you are likely to be time effective. 🙂

If you're an atheist, you'd be wasting your time with believers. Dismiss immediately.

I disagree, most sites ask what you affiliate toward, some will even ask if it's important or not. It's one thing if they go out of their way to say in the profile that is what they are about. But most don't care either way.
