What’s your opinion of self-hating atheists like S.E. Cupp, who also praises Christianity? A marketing ploy or a legitimate position?

I think it is just posturing or playing politics. People who suck up to the religious are looking for power and influence.

No opinion, I don't care... that's my opinion

I am an atheist. It means I have an absolute absence of belief in a supernatural deity. While I think believers are delusional, I don’t hate their religion. Each to his/her/their own. All religious texts and institutions have their madness, inconsistencies, nonsense and in equal measure, poetry, mystery and beauty. Look at the renaissance and the influence of the church. So much beautiful architecture, sculpture and art. Early medieval manuscript illumination, Cathedrals and mosques like Hagia Sofia from the Christian Byzantine era and then a mosque during the Ottoman Empire. I don’t think that makes me self-hating.

For her, it’s all about a career. She works for CNN. She can’t be too far right, that would never work on that network. Her message has been pretty consistent over the years, she walks a fine line between her fiscal conservatism and more liberal social stances. She is verbal about her atheism but not militant.

A trap. They try to appeal to atheists to convert them.

They're just jehovahs witnesses in costume
