It is the belief of disbelief if there was any doubt in anyone's mind. This pretty much sums it up right here.

The willful ignorance gets me. Denying science for one. People just made stuff up, cause it's in the bible, this is the crap I live with daily and it really pisses me off.

It seems like there are enough non-free thinking individuals too.

After watching the memorial tributes and services for Aretha Franklin and John McCain, I wonder...how can these throngs of people be incorrect about god and I be right? I am nothing...no great intellect...just a 71 year old who is experiencing mild memory issues.

I think there is a common "belief". not in the supernatural sense, but to rid the world of lies.

You know it's one thing to believe in something that might not be true, but it's a whole other matter to willfully deceive others into believing things like religion that are definitely not true especially when we can prove that these things are not true.A lie is misinformation or information misrepresented with deliberate intent to deceive and yet that's why all religions do.

Exactly

Although it is clearly stated... I doubt a lot of religious people will undersand it. Willful ignorance is difficult to over come.

@snytiger, That's what gets me too.
