JFK was before Princess Diana. Boogey is talking about after Princess Diana.

America needs heroes to honor at this time in our history. The attention his funeral received was almost a welcome respite from the daily news of partisan politics.

To see politicians setting aside some time, away from the discord that usually divides them, to come together and just be human, celebrating the good in a person, regardless of political differences, was refreshing.

Our nation's children need heroes, and I can imagine John McCain's story will be told in our schools, and his choices discussed as inspirational.

@Boogey Thats not at all true. But he was a good man

@Boogey He was not bipartisan, check his voting record. Not as bad as most republicans but still voted along part lines most of his time in the senate

@Boogey I agree with that he voted his conscious on some important issues. But more often then not he voted strait party lines
