Are you able to allow others to be who they are with out judgement? One percent of those who see this will get the meaning behind that possibly...

You make a judgment when you interact with someone. Good, bad, indifferent. It's all a judgment.

I think that judgement is part of human nature, our fight or flight response system. In the course of our daily lives, we meet people. Our subconscious mind begins picking up on their "vibes," red flags, possible threats, content of character, good and bad. Who wants to let a person into our lives and homes, giving them access to our loved ones....within minutes, we're making judgments as to their intelligence, kindness, decency....and we walk away with an idea if we are willing to foster a friendship, let that person remain a mere acquaintance, or avoid ever interacting with that person again. I mean, you tell me you admire Trump, you point to it snowing outside and say it is proof global warning is a hoax, that tells me everything I need to know about you...and it's bye-bye.

Yes, I have learned the lesson of the book and its cover. Many times my initial thoughts were incorrect as they were based upon previous experiences. The ONE thing that bothers me is the ability of people to NOT accept real fact I judge those that do not read, nor care too learn, as idiots. No way can one have a base of beliefs if they reject real news and real facts.

That one is hard for me too. I am realizing more and more that a couple of my very good friends are so uninformed. They don't read books or articles. Don't watch news or documentaries. Don't listen to podcasts. Don't have any desire at all to know anything outside of their very small bubbles. I love them though. <shrug>

I wish. Unfortunately my brain snaps to attention and I notice things floating into my consciousness that I truly wish would just stay put, and out of sight.

How many of us have family or friends that do not care to learn. Those that believe the propaganda and do nothing to correct their thoughts such as saying " I want to find out if this is true of not before I cast judgement on the people composing this group. One current example is the stock market, now I hear how Trump has set all stock market records but when I ask them to look at the stock market growth over the last decade they literally refuse to even look at the S&P and NASDAQ
There are those that follow FOX news and then cast judgement on those they just learned about with no facts what so ever, These people I indeed prejudge as uneducated and ignorant. With that I hope to avoid talking with them as I love to learn new things and always carry an open mind

judgement or assessment? we all assess automatically anything or one new and judge if that thing or person is safe for us to be near, it's a survival trait. Anyone can be who they want to be as long as it doesn't affect my safety. How boring would life be if we were all identical having identical experiences

As I always say: "Be who you are, and be so proudly. Just don't do it near me." 😉

Judge, yes.

Condemn, no.

Some, yes. Some, definitely not.
