Hello all just out of a curious though how do you unwind after a hard day's graft (work).
With me it's just sitting at my work bench doing a little bit of model making or watching a little bit of television or are you just to tired to do anything .

I have about an hour drive home so I spend that time either listening to news, music, or audio books. Once home, its chore time so I change in grubby clothes, tend to my chickens, gather/clean eggs, maybe a bit of yard work, depending on weather & light, make a bit of dinner (soup or the like), pack lunch for the next day, pack my gym bag for the next day & get that in my vehicle, lay out my clothes for the next day, get cleaned up & in bed. Maybe a touch of reading them lights out.

I get on my inversion table, and listen to a little music (today, it was Tangerine Dream). After that, some oolong tea.

I do a bit of collecting. There is the search, the finding, the collection.... it is very satisfying and good at taking the mind of the mundane.

I so wish I liked booze. Or pot. Or baths. All I got are naps. I wake from them just in time to go to bed for the night.

Ha !! You stole my thunder !!... That's what I do...nap to chill and then wake up to realize it's time to go to bed. Life can get really evil when we grow old.... ??

@IamNobody oh I don't know. Naps are the one thing I look forward to. A good nap is a gift

Anything with a drink in my hand is fine...last night it was vacuum up the dog hair off the hardwood and have more drinks with a friend that visited.

Maybe a beer, some good food, good book or TV really. What an exciting life I lead.

A nice hike is always my go-to relaxation method. Then afterward, some Netflix or a Kindle book.
