Are you very concerned what happens to your body after death?

I have no concerns since the future is unknown I don't know what would happen to my body.

Well I won't have the slightest concern after my death, that's certain. It does not much concern me now, either. I'd like to have my organs donated but after my experience with my son's wishes in this regard being thwarted by technicalities after his death, I don't have much in the way of expectations there, either.

No longer my problem. Did just help a relative donate to science when that time comes.

Nope, not at all.?

Nope.

Not at all. I just don't want my sons to be stuck with any expense related to the disposing of my remains. I have considered cremation and also toyed with the idea of donating my carcass to The Body Farm or some similar facility.

No. By then its too late. I want what is called a green burial. That means that the body is wrapped in a cloth (canvas) shroud and buried fairly shallowly. This allows the body to be reclaimed by bacteria, insects, and other natural organisms. Several states allow in select cemetaries.

No embalming. Natural burial in a cotton shroud. Plant an oak or cedar on the grave. Circle of life.

If any of my organs can be used to help anyone then have at it. Then cremation.

Not really. I would prefer to be burned and scattered, but it matters very little.

Why should I be. I won't have any consciousness.

Of course... Since I am the only one that Rented it in this life... I don't want it to be consumed by chihuahuas or urban cannibals. Only property I ever acknowledged... When I die... My body belongs to My Mistress... The Sea.

not keen on cremation purely because it seems waste of nutrients and fuel quite like the idea of being used as some sort of fertilizer i believe there is a company doing just this using liquid nitrogen and vibrations to break the body down

I think they say every seven years each cell in our bodies are replaced. If so, our several earlier bodies are already strewn, bit by bit, down the trails we have walked. I don't there's anything special about what turns out to be our final body (except that parts of it may be donated).

I want to be cremated and tossed out on a windy day facing the wind

nope. why would i be? i won't exist anymore except in my body of work and the memories of those who knew me, until they too cease to exist. my body won't have me in it (nor will i be anywhere else). it will be of no more use to anyone.

Not at all, I will be done with it. If I truly had a choice, I would want to have my body left in the desert for the coyotes and vultures to feed on. The legal options all seem wasteful to me.

Not in the least.

Nope. Take anything that might be useful (though at my age and health status that might not be anything) and burn the rest. Do whatever you want with the ashes, I'll be gone and won't care a bit.
