That wild bottlenose dolphins can teach each other to moon walk, even though it's only a fad with them.

In 1988 a rescued Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops aduncus), Billie, stayed at a nearby dolphinarium in southern Australia for several weeks where it observed captive dolphins tail-walking for shows.

It learned to do the same, on its own, and after release, researchers noticed that other wild Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins in Billie's pod began tail walking too, resembling Michael Jackson moonwalkers.

But after the main tail walkers died, the behavior began disappearing from the wild pod, so it was only a passing fad!

Cool social learning.
