I can't say I haven't watched it, but I sometimes do think of the 'actors' and 'actresses' since many are flung into it, thinking maybe they'll get their big break. The industry also creates many drug addicts.

It has always existed in one form or another, and there will always be some who enjoy it on occasion, (myself included). Though of course, it comes in many forms and many different levels. Like anything else though - it can be overindulged in by some.

I think that there are different types of pornography that should not be a part of any self respecting adults taste, namely sadism and violence against women, but apart from that it is a matter of personal taste. Personally I think well written erotic literature is far more likely to hold ones attention.

I don't judge anyone for watching it, I've watched it but I'm not really big fan. It lacks intimacy & emotional connection, but I guess that's not really exciting to watch. Sex can be various things, intense, romantic, funny.......so do think that it can give people an unrealistic view & unrealistic expectations about sex.

I'm going to be honest and only speak for myself, but studies agree with me. I am very visual and I masturbate to porn. I'm rational enough to know that it is fantasy. If you are fantasizing about the next door neighbor, is it necessarily going to happen? Many women have rape fantasies, people have prison fantasies, and pizza deliver fantasies, which all can be seen in porn because that is what goes through the minds of people. If you have a healthy mind you recognize the difference between real life and fantasy, and if a fantasy is possible in real life, well then, make it come true, if you so choose. Non-human animals watch each other have sex. Humans have sex drawings in caves. The ancient world celebrated nudity and sex. There is nothing wrong with sex, with viewing sex, and do whatever gets you off between consenting adults. This anti porn attitude we see is religious nonsense, but the funny thing is that religious people love porn, while they condemn it. And as far as denigrating women or anyone else, and genre of entertainment can do that and we see in every form of artistic expression.

I have never been a fan of it. Much of it denigrate people particularly women. It tends to desensitize people to other facets of human relationships. I love sex but, wacking off to picture or videos never seems like a good alternative to it.
