I have been JimG on agnostic.com for over 10 months now. I'm considering a change to a more creative moniker as well as something with personal significance.

A sociology professor who was also a Presbyterian minister called me and a friend reprobates during a class discussion. My friend was offended, and I accepted the title as a badge of honor.

What do you think of the sobriquet reprobate or a variant; perhaps reprob8?

Reprob8: I like it.

Kudos to you, I wish that one of my issues in life was choosing a new moniker on here!

I don't really come here to discuss my personal issues or share my private life.

Go for it! A rose by any other name...

What did you do to earn such lofty praise?

I was my normal charming and outspoken self. 😉

It don’t think it matters a damn what moniker you use...it’s your views and replies to posts we look at, not what you call yourself.

Change the name, keep the fish.

No, not the fish. Anything but the fish.

Why change, you will still be the same person.

Reprob8 is pretty clever.
Do whatever you think you need to do.

not bad I like it.... seeing that picture of you with the fish makes me want to just suggest reprobaiter, just because it came to mind.

That's a good one!!

How about ‘catfish’ or ‘norkeld’?

But it's a largemouth. Which gives me another possibility. 😀
