I am a breast cancer survivor almost 8 years now. Lost my mom to colon cancer in 2015. Very difficult.

My Brother in law died of colon cancer - it is terrible. My condolences on your loss.

There isn't a woman in the last two generations of my family who hasn't had breast cancer so I'm well familiar. And so far we've turned up no genetic marker (making me think there will be more found eventually).

8 years is great! We need some sort of award emoji for surviving! πŸ˜‰

[agnostic.com] Head to the group if you are interested! πŸ˜‰

This was just to let folks know we exist.

@RavenCT I am so sorry for your loss as well.

This is great. Thank you. My brother has brain cancer and it’s been hard.

If you need help with research or how to get direct support for him - holler.

I watched my Brother in Law die of colon cancer (at home) with three young kids), My Mom had Breast Cancer and the recurrence - 10 years later killed her.

There are a ton of strategies for the real world that can help such as setting up food trains with sympathetic friends.

Pretty sure I remember how the ACS and NIH websites work for the latest research too.

Plus you can vent here. Pretty sure anyone here will get it. (((Sydland)))

@RavenCT Thanks for the offer. He is being treated at a good place, MD Anderson Medical Center in Houston.
