The question should be why having they been on these boards?

As long as they're good at the job.

Stupid idea. But that's OK, since to be a 'woman' to these SJWs, you only need to identify internally as one, not with the gender that was assigned to you at birth. Sure I wear a suit and tie, and piss standing up, but that was forced upon me by society and I am truly a woman inside, so let me on the board regardless of qualifications, interests, or any basis on logic or reason.

It doesn't matter what their sex is, to me. Unfortunately some laws are set up to try and balance something that is unbalanced. The segregation of schools (back in the 1960's, for example). Now most public schools have some type of balance based on the communities. Will it stay, will it go, will it be repealed, will it help -- only time will tell. It is a step.

Just be careful, not all women are good women, just like all men are not bad.

I think women should be on company boards. I also think that unions should have representation on company boards as well. It works in Germany.

While I agree that this is a good idea, why is it the states' job to legislate this?

I think that is excellent!
