Use your social media more effectively. Have a one on one conversation with your "friends" at least once a week.

Gracious, no.
The advantage of social media friends is not having to hang with them in reality.

There are only a few I'd probably enjoy being with, and then only for a short time to do something specific.

True but a lot of our friends on social media are the very ones that we know personally, like our very own family. Remember that one day I will come to visit you in Thailand, though, he, he.

@Jolanta I defriended, blocked, and have broken off all contact with many of my cousins, three of my siblings, half my Haiti MK (missionary kid) childhood friends, because of their being proud Trump supporters.

So, if you are mellow and independent enough, we really could do a few things around Songkhla. I don't cook, entertain, or let people sleep over, so you'd be mostly on your own.

Luckily, Thailand is so cheap it's ridiculous..my monthly rent, including utilities, wi-fi, cable TV, 24-hour guard, etc. is only $130 a month, and there are plenty of places nearby with inexpensive short-term rental.

@birdingnut That all sounds great. Why on all word would you cook if you live in Thailand, after all the food there is so delicious and cheap. This would not be until sometimes next year, and yes I am independent and mellow, without the alcohol, he,he. Only way to be.

@Jolanta You're SOOO right! The food is..well, there's no words to describe how good it is- and so cheap! I'm too old to teach in Thailand now, especially after the new laws, and would have left last year, but now I'm recovering from intestinal cancer.

Not a fun reason to still be here, but I still love every minute I get to live in this paradise. But no problem..you don't need me to have a blast here, if I'm gone when you get here!

@birdingnut Sorry to hear about you illness. What are your plans, going back to the US? Or what?

@Jolanta I want to be well before leaving Thailand since medical costs here are so low and almost nonexistent in the US, or ridiculously high. So I keep taking cannabis oil and improving, but I haven't been able to get very much oil, so taking tiny amounts
