Everyone should experience some time in assisted living – before they have to.

Starving for a week. A severe beating. Love. Loss. A random act of kindness.

Gaining perspective is not always a pleasant process, but I consider it necessary.

Being thanked by a stranger for a random act of kindness.

Too subjective. Nearly everyone will have a different answer.

@WeaZ Oh. My bad.

What do you mean.. “nearly “.?

Loosing both parents I've had to grow up quickly.a lot of friends and family thought I wouldn't cope. Need to keep eye on me which I've had all my life as wrapped in cotton wool. Now come back stronger

there is no one SHOULD and whatever it would be wouldn't be the same for everyone anyway. i agree with many of the answers below... for SOME people. i do not agree with a single one for ALL people.

Having and rearing a child.

most definitely NOT something everyone should experience. think susan smith; maybe she was gratified but her kids didn't do so well. and can you imagine if charles manson had kids? women still die of childbirth in this country. no, i don't think this is for everyone.

@genessa I agree. 😀

@genessa Are you claiming that Susan Smith reared her children?

@PBuck0145 more like rear-ended them but yeah, until she stopped. anyway, even without that example, to say that everyone should have kids is ridiculous. some should, some shouldn't.

Having experienced this last year, I would urge anyone who has never seen a total eclipse of the sun (under the path of totality), to put this event--somewhere on the planet--on your bucket list. I witnessed last year's eclipse in August in eastern Oregon by myself, and immediately regretted the absence of family and close friends. You just can't describe in words what you are seeing ... it was among the best two minutes of a life well-lived!

I was in Boise. I had to work that day so I couldnt head north. It seemed the whole country was united for that brief moment in time. I miss that.
