It depends on what they're saying and whether I really want to put the energy into arguing with them.
If they're saying something super stupid I might engage, but if they're unwilling to even try to see it from a perspective other than their own and won't budge, I'm done.
I don't care if they claim they won the argument or not, the aggravation isn't worth it.

You're saying is their ideas are super stupid you'll engage in discussion? I'd just say oh yea good for you and walk.

It's some sort of affliction I have.
Sometimes I want to go down that rabbit hole a little bit and see what's happening in there.

That's a little bit like what I was trying to say. I could have made what I meant a little bit clearer. 😉
