Odd that I never noticed this before, but apparently in Abrahamic mythology God didn't create water.

1 In the beginning God created* the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

So the scene opens with god levitating over an ocean that appears to have always been there.
I'm not saying that this is important in any way, but if people are looking for a God why wouldn't they look for the guy that made the water instead of the guy that woke up floating over that water.

Weird I was raised Christian and I guess we were all brainwashed into not realizing what the big stupid book of wishful thinking has stupid shit like this everywhere through it.

Wasn't water part of the firmament that existed first?
Genesis 1:2

the earth hath existed waste and void, and darkness [is] on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God fluttering on the face of the waters,
