Even though Fall weather has not quite reached us yet in Florida, Fall is my favorite time of year. It gives me a sense of pleasant nostalgia-- cool days, long shadows, a hint of wood smoke in the air, memories of pleasant times with friends, family get-togethers including at least 3 generations, brilliant color in trees and grasslands, etc. Does anyone else have the same reaction?

After over 4 months of persistently 90 + degree weather, I would welcome a little snow. As I get older I tolerate cold better than heat.
@wordywalt I know!! I'm so much better when it is cold. I don't like the heat at all! I can always put on more clothes when it is cold, but there is a limit to what I can take off when it is hot.

I have an air conditioner in my bedroom window, and I have a dehumidifier that does a good job of tackling the humidity in the whole house. But in the heat of the summer, I still find myself tossing blankets off myself in the night because it's so uncomfortable. So I LOVE that time of year when I can turn those noisy things off and be comfortable.
I hate sweating. I'm happy on a cool day with a sweatshirt on. I love the hygge of fall.

I love fall. After living in California for nine years, I really missed the change of seasons. Then we moved to Oregon, and when fall came, I couldn't get enough. Now I'm back here where I get an autumn every year.

No, not my favourite. Hate the shorter days and longer nights. Best time for me is late spring/ early summer...around May and June....warm long days and everything newly green and in bud.
