The Irish were hated when they came to the US and so were the Jews. All people who are “other” are hated because they are different. We have to address our prejudices and stop hiding behind humor or “that’s how it’s always been”. We have to do better!

We do have history of waves of immigrants judging the ethnic group one or two slots down the line.
I know my German ancestors late 1800s got flak and all settled together in a rural community in large part to avoid the bigotry.
Of official immigrant waves (which is to say excepting the Africans who almost 100% came without choice), the Irish faced probably the harshest reception to North America. For awhile they were viewed as hardly better than dogs and Irish were enslaved.
I'm not justifying bigotry, but there are many unpleasant precedents.

White people aren't the only people to blame and as long as people blame whites alone, we will all have problems. You cannot blame a whole race for the actions of a few. That's what prejudice is all about.... Think about it.

I had to go to Europe to learn there is no "whites", no "blacks"... is an ameriKKKan invention. You are Right... many Guilty in many shape and form but... these problems in this land did not happened until the Arrival of "whites" or if you prefer to call them "european"... you are welcome. They brought the Prejudice. And all these going on... is a Diversion!

All I am saying is the expansion of the european that called themselves whites in ameriKKKa changed to the point of extermination the tribes that were in the Americas. You don't want to see it fine... you don't want to accept it... fine too. But the Past can't be Changed or Ignored as if it never happened like that. Something I learned in my humble travels is that those responsible at some point will admit the Damage Done. And I am saying some... While living in Spain for 3 years... I was asked often enough... what we in the Caribbean thought of the Spaniards... Often enough they apologized to me for the "discovery and colonization" of the Americas... But that is an "Old Country"... ameriKKKa still had not learned their lessons and... Do You Hear Them Apologizing to The Native American for making a "country" of their lands? No you don't that is a sign of a young nation!!! A country Living in Denial of the Damage Done. If israel can lay claim to jerusalem and palestine... How can not the Sioux Nation lay claim to portions of the Mid West? Religion? This is a country based on Racism... Imagine this country without use of Slaves... where will it be right now? Or the use of "China Men" on the "Western Territories"? Or The Latinos in the Western States? It is that Denial what I am against. The Sins of a New Nation!!!! Sorry but... In The ameriKKKa... white is to Blame!!!! Is not Hate... but in my family I was raised to recognize the Sins of the races I am part of, no skeletons left in the closet to be found by the next generations. As I see it... if the jews can have israel and palestine... those coming can have texas... but that is just me being sarcastic... but who knows? I believe in Hawaii for the Hawaiians too. And while I am at it... Get The Fuck Out of Puerto Rico too.
