Meh. That expresses my thoughts on the concepts succinctly.

  1. If you believe in "free will" then your fate and destiny are in your own hands - you will make choices, all of which will be informed by your experience, so some things will feel like fate or that you have a destiny to fulfil.

  2. If you think we have no free will and are just a bunch of chemical reactions that depends on a bunch of other chemical reactions, then yes, your fate and destiny are predetermined.

  3. Buggered if I know.

Most people devlp theri general demeanor by age 7. So, most "fate" or "destiny" is determined by the kind of life you experience as a child. Beyond what is familiar to you nd comfortable, each person determines their own fate or destiny. Most peopel never move beyond what is familiar to them.

Believing in fate or destiny is delusional. Magical thinking.

I think these concepts appeal to humans as we like to plan and have certainty in our lives. However, there is no natural, rational reasoning for this. I think the fact that these concepts are most often dealt with in psychology is telling that these ideas are artifacts of the need for stability and confidence.

All things were created at the very instant of the big bang but at that instant there was only gases. Stars and planets and galaxies came billions of years later in our universe. There are many hypothesis on how the big bang happened but, to date, that is all they are. Fate and destiny and freewill are terms which were all created by a species called human beings which are a part of a condition called life. In order for fate or destiny to be a thing you would have to prove the big bang was fate or destiny. Good luck with that.

No such things… There may be ‘likely outcomes’ due to personal propensities, but nothing is ‘guided’ by anything..

Fate and Destiny are good names for strippers. Other than that I don't have much to say.
