The NRCC is running attack ads in Michigan claiming that “liberal extremists” are “dividing the country” and will “take America backwards.” The irony is so thick I am gagging in my living room.
Isn’t dividing the country and keeping it backwards basically the Republican platform?

You mean the ones that say, essentially, “you don’t want another woman democrat as governor because obviously she’s exactly the same as Jennifer Granholm.”?
I proudly am attempting to "divide the country" by planning to throw all Xian Repugs off the edge of this flat earth!
I will tell them if they jump they will join the Rapture, not fall......

Backwards to POC, LGBT, and women having no rights; backwards to removing the safety net; backwards to old white men in power.
@CarolinaGirl60 no, I don’t think so. That’s what I mean - that *Republicans are the ones who want to take America backwards. I genuinely don’t know what they are threatening that Democrats will take America “back” to - the Obama era when it wasn’t okay to be a bigot in public?
@A2Jennifer that’s what I meant, that it’s the GOP going backwards—or trying to! I guess my reply didn’t make that clear. The Republicans are playing a game of projection, blaming anyone/everyone for what THEY are doing. As narcissist survivors, we see it’s a clear tactic to try to divert from their own actions.
