Does it piss off anyone else when people unapologetically make science claims that are wildly incorrect then hold their ground as if they actually knew something about what they're claiming?
Like:
There's two kinds of evolution micro and macro, micro works but macro isn't real.
(There's only one kind of evolution and there's no evidence against it!)
Einstein was wrong about time dilation, there's only one time and it doesn't vary.
(Then why the F do we have to factor it in to make GPS work? Time passes faster on a GPS satellite then it does on earth!)
Reality is somehow a part of consciousness, quantum mechanics proves the law of attraction.
(Utter bullshit! A new way of claiming magical powers that no one possesses!)
I'm not even going into flat earth, alien DNA manipulation, or an insane number of other stupid shit arguments.

Einstein was wrong about time though - Lorentz Ether Theory accounts for all the same facts of reality without running into contradiction (as Einsteins original version of SR does) and without destroying the role of causality (as the Minkowski version of SR does if you stop cheating by sneaking Newtonian time into it). The reality is that when it comes to relativity, the establishment is playing fast and loose with the laws of mathematics.

gee most of the folks i find making bad science mistakes just say evolution isn't real because they are not descended from monkeys (thus proving they have no idea what evolution is) or believe in the 10-second rule for dropping food on the floor!

I find them on here all the time. The main tip-off is the Looonnngg length of the post, and the BIGLY words used. Truth is usually easily succinctly phrased.
When you challenge them (for example asking for citation(s) of source(s), you either get hostility or deflection. What a waste of time for everybody involved!
