Some humans understand more than others. We understand a lot more than our ancestors did 50,000 years ago. Humans will continue to understand more, but it will be a slow process.

How exactly do you propose to be anything other than human? All understanding will always be human understanding, if a concept is new and alien to us, the moment it is discovered its now understood by humans, so maybe elaborate?
