Should you get a flu shot?

I do not due to an egg allergy. I am fortunate to have not contracted the flu in over 30 or more years.

I had a horrific episode of vaso-vagal syncope the last time I got a flu shot. That was my last flu shot. No joke; I would rather be sick for three days than go through that again. It was terrifying.

I got both a flu shot and a pneumonia shot last week. I have grandchildren less than two years old, I will do whatever I need to to keep us all safe and healthy. Herd immunity is real.

I've never gotten one in all these years. I'm not against vaccines, just lazy. So far, no flu

Never miss, I use to get the flu pretty much every year. Since I started getting the shots several years ago, no flu.

Nope. Never. I'm allergic to some antibiotics and I would not put eggs in my body. I just avoid people, which is very easy for me. Have not had colds or flu in almost 15 years.

Without fail.

I get mine every year. Skipped a year once and people insisted on working while contagious. Half our floor ended up sick including me. Daughter was in state working but was able to visit. I was still sick. Thank goodness she didn’t catch it. This occurred over Xmas and New Years. I did not appreciate inconsiderate fellow employees. Even though I’m now retired, I will continue getting it. Don’t like being sick.

Never had one. My doctor says I don't need one because of my age...
