If you have a fried bologna, egg, and cheese sandwich, but on whole wheat, does that make it okay or should you just go for the full on sin?

Assuming you don't eat one every single morning for breakfast, I say have it the way you want it. If white bread makes the sandwich (it wouldn't for me but my preferences don't count here), then go for it.

thank you. next time I have the chance I will....lol

it's your mouth and your stomach and toilet. you don't get many choices so knock yourself out.

That's like fries, cheeseburger, apple pie, and diet coke. You might as well just go for the gold... so-to-speak.

true. no point in holding back I reckon.

Whatever sounds good to you, go for it! There is no sin, that is religious guilt BS.

of course there's no sin. that's why I use the word. below you can read in the comments from @BanjoTango where the word came from. I prefer the idea to use words outside of their typical context. I like to think it helps to redefine them or hollow out their old meanings.

I'll just leave this here....

that might be worth a try.

Yummy.

Mayo! But i prefer the taste/texture of whole wheat or oatmeal bread, so it's okay

oh no, another Mayo eater..... LOL

@hankster I can't do mayo either

its bad.

mayo

oh please, don't say that. there's not many foods I don't like but I don't like any of them if they got Mayo on them.

@hankster miracle whip

when I was little, as a treat, my mother would make me Miracle Whip sandwiches. I loved them, just Miracle Whip and bread. one day the Miracle Whip was spoiled. I've been scarred by white condiments ever since....lol.

@hankster well I am trying to create a sinful situation..looks like I did it but not in the way i wanted to

@hankster there is fodder for atheistic humor in a brand name like Miracle Whip though

if you're using mayonnaise I would say that's a really good start. I'm not altogether clear what you mean by sinful situation, but you can usually count me in on stuff like that, unless it has mayonnaise involved. try and try again?

@hankster concoction is probably a better word

I'm not so sure. sin is a pretty good word for concoction they aren't that far apart. whipping up miracles, no wonder all that stuff is in everything at the fellowship dinners.

Why stop there? Batter and deep fry that sucker!

naw, that's just taking it too far, what would epicurus say?

@hankster Probably something Greek 😀 .

Full on sin is much better, it’s much more fun. James

I eat nothing but super generic white bread, and I'm doing just fine. Actually I'm about to make a sausage egg and cheese on grilled white bread 🙂

3

I like wheat bread. With nuts and seeds too. So I think it’s great. But on an English muffin would be awesome.

Attn English people: What do you call English Muffins? They are not crumpets. Similar, but not.

Yum. Now I’m hungry.

Its only a sin if you are trying to lose weight.

Fun fact - "Sin" is from early Greek, that means "to miss the mark", as in missing the target with an arrow".

So, whatever you do that fails to achieve what you think you should, is a Sin.

I did not now that.

3

"Sin?" If you're used to eating that kind of food, go for it.
I would likely have bad reactions to such food, since I don't eat it.

Me, too.

Remember sins don’t matter to us hehehe. James
