When someone says they are an atheist they are saying they know that there is no God. Same as a religious person saying I know there is a God. Fact is You nor I do not know if there is a God. The only reasonable thing to say is I am "agnostic". I just do not know if there is a God and as of this time in history there is no way to know if the one God does exist. Although it does make sense to say there is a higher or more advance element in the universe as we cannot create life or stars.

UTTER BOLLOCKS
A-Theist means without god(s) thats it.
There is no proof of god(s) therefore there is no reason to believe in god(s)
There maybe god(s) and I will accept that, but with no evidence to back up the claim, even if there is a god, there may as well not be, which still amounts to a-theism being without god(s)
I advise you to learn what you are talking about before making a total fool of yourself in future.

Wrong. I am an agnostic atheist.
I do not believe that the theist claims that god(s) exists - hence the atheist bit. When there is sufficient evidence that gods exist, I will then be a theist.
I do not know (the agnostic bit) that some definition of gods cannot exist in some form somewhere in the cosmos.
Where is your evidence that as we can't create life or stars that it makes sense that there is a higher element that can? You would also need to define what you mean by element before I can make a judgement on whether or not it could be higher or more advanced.
