It amazes me how six inches of snow can paralize a major city. It would take at least a foot in Denver to shut it down.

I have a kid in New Haven that reports 3-4" of snow. Kid #3 in Vermont reports "a centimeter or two"

Sleet is the worst! Stay safe!

I guess one of the benefits (?) of working like I do from home is not having snow days... But then again, no braving the crazy trek to work!

We rarely have sleet, or the dreaded freezing rain here in Colorado. I sure don't miss the ice. Freezing drizzle is the absolute worst, almost impossible to drive on, even with 4WD. We are off to a good start to the snow season, with 14 inches so far, and more predicted for Saturday.

I used to hate the sleet when I lived in Sweden. So depressing and cold.

Up here , in North East Ohio , there has been a rain sleet mixture , with temperatures of 32 ° .

The snow will start tonight about 8pm here in western Mass. They are predicting 7-8 inches of snow in the Berkshires, but we're close to the CT river, so it will be a lot less for us.

Yup... I was supposed to drive out to Charlottesville this morning.... It turned into a home office day! Yay! Got some drywall work finished! Painting this weekend!

This storm passed over us in Chattanooga last night and early in the morning. No snow but freezing rain. I'm dancing in it.

Snow here in Baltimore too. I’m helping a homeless girl and her dog. Got the puppy a snow suit and snow shoes. Sleet here also.

I hate the snow with a vengeance. First time I saw snowing was Xmas day, 2004. Loved it at the time. 2009 and 2010 we had blizzards here and I started loathing it.

We got about 2 or so inches here in West Tennessee, with some sleet. Luckily, last month at this time it was close to 80, so the ground is still warm enough to melt anything off the roads.

I like watching the snow/sleet fall, but I don't like to be out in it.
