When I hear a new song that I fall in love with I tend to obsess and play it over and over and over and over... maybe 100 times in the last 2 days, like OBSESS!! Lol

Anyone else?

I get obsessed with songs also. I like to learn the lyrics and sing in my car.

Yes! especially when adding music to video production, if the timing of music must be coordinated with the visual, you bet i'm listening to it 100's of times.

Yes all the time and when I am no longer obsessed and re-visit the song at a later time, I usually hate it. ?

Yes very much so, music is my go to when I'm needing to connect, been listening to Wheeler Walker Jr all his stuff is hilarious, an example.

I do that with songs that speak to me, even if they aren't new.

raises hand...
although often have to "ration" myself for fear I'll get sick of a beloved tune.

I've had "Hefty-itis" for 3 1/2 years straight though. I've come to terms with the realization there doesn't seem to be a cure in sight.

Yes, I did this my whole life. Most recently I did it with Taylor Swift's Delicate ??

Yes. I hear a song and I just have learn it front back. I'll put it on repeat and it over and over until I know every nuance.

Pepper thats a good song!

No. I curb my listening because I know that if I listen too many times I will grow tired of it. And it takes away from time better spent exploring new artists.

i know what you mean because I do the same damn thing!! It's a wonder that I don't play it so much that i hate it, but that just never happens

I used to do that. The song got played hundreds of times and the booze went along for the ride. Today I don't drink as much so it all slowed down.

Not to THAT extent, but yes.

Me, my daughter threatened to jump out of the car a couple of times because of it.

Yup. Most definitely. Especially if it’s a song I like so much I might want to choreograph a dance piece to. Then I would put it on repeat and listen for several hours until it becomes part of me.

I do that too

I'm the same way - tend to obsess on new songs/musicians that I discover. Looping certain songs over and over.
