Exciting developments
Year round solar home heating. No more boiler, no more heating bills. As long as it isn't corrosive, use the existing radiator infrastructure in your home. Panel on your roof, reservoir tank for the fuel, pump and catalyst hooked up to your thermostat, et voila!
@powder yeah, but current generators use supercritical steam - that's just under 400°C at 22kPa (I work in the nuclear industry here in the UK). I'm thinking of something bolt-on that would fit with existing tech. Home heating isn't a big deal in Oz (except maybe Melbourne and Tassie), but it's a sizeable chunk of home energy use in Europe and North America.
Very exciting. This is the beginning of new battery technology.
