It's been my observation that when folks speak on religious freedoms they are not talking about the right to unencumbered worship in their private space but rather the freedom to come into the public space to harass those citizens who may have beliefs that differ from their own.

It's a sneaky bit of backwards-cleft-tongue-speak in some monotheistic religions. Same way truth really means lies in that context. Love means hate. Choice is coercion. Wisdom is folly. Good is evil. Freedom is slavery.
Their twisted version religious freedoms means god has commanded them to dominate or destroy everything. Any infringement on that is religious persecution, by us, against them.
True. These folks just don't seem to understand that NOT EVERYONE believes as they do, and many just don't care to listen to their beliefs.
