Absolutely not; I feel extremely sad and angry that our species is so greedy and stupid!!!!

I'm not sure if I feel special, partially because I was brought up with a certain amount of expectations of humility, but I think I'm reasonably unique, thanks in part to a relatively individualistic culture and knowing that I don't want to just fit a certain mold or just do something with my career or life that fits a pattern. I will say that it took a while to reach that point, though, and there were other times in my life where I tried to "color within the lines" a bit more to avoid isolation.
