Hi folks. I've been "off-site" for quite a while. First swanning around Europe for two and a half months, then catching up with all the "stuff" that had accumulated in that time. Then I spent 10 days in hospital, having had four "strokes" that paralysed my right side and stopped me speaking, but which, without the aid of the great myth in the sky, magically cleared each time.
(The vets reckon it was probably some fatty tissue that blocked a lesser artery in my brain, but then cleared.)
I had a CAT scan, two ultrasound scans, two MRI scans and a 24 hour ECG. which all show no permanent damage.
Today, the oncologist looked at my latest blood check and told me he didn't wish to see me for another 3 months. It appears my cancer is still in the "wait and see" phase.
So...... I have time to make silly comments on here.

Gees @Petter you just scared the crap out me! I'm glad you are currently ok - and back.

No more time off if that's how you're going to spend it! 😉

Do you have trip pics for us?? You promised us pictures.

Yep. I'll start posting them soon. I did post a few of George Washington's ancestral home in Wessyngton, Northumberland, from my laptop a few months ago.

@Petter I might have seen those. I knew you were busy and had lousy connectivity.

But if you're going to try to escape us entirely Mister Twinkletoes? I expect some warning my dear!

No disappearing acts my friend! I still have dreams about to those French Doors you installed - though I have no idea what you see through them!

I will be looking for the trip pics soon.

Glad you are back for another 3!
