With you 100%. I'm so heartsick over all the juggernaut of bs that is "the holidays" (runaway commercialism, metastatic pseudo-cultural memes, hollow symbolism, etc.) that each year I increasingly wish I could hibernate, away from society, from Nov-Jan. Or go someplace where Christmas is hardly observed.

Realistically, I think I may actually institute days or weeks of meditation and/or fasting. I'm starting to feel like I have to initiate some kind of "cultural disobedience"--and some kind of self care--to get my head right.
