Alright, the results from your salmonella turkey and ecoli salad should be in. Who braved them and ate them anyway and who switched to ham and kale or whatever?

Haven't eaten turkey in years. We had fish and a raw veggie mix instead of any lettuce.

Who eats lettuce on thanksgiving? This is the soul food zone, that sounds like city slickin to me.

As far as the turkey goes, thats why we cook it. The broccoli was safe too after being thoroughly baked in glassware with cheese, cream of mushroom and breadcrumbs.

My turkey was a Butterball (heard that it was Jennie-Os affected by the recall). I do not menu lettuce salad on Thanksgiving, but have a nice head in the fridge. We all seem healthy enough!

Don't eat turkey, haven't bought lettuce in months.
I wouldn't eat kale if it were free.

I don’t know the background to the post but it’s very funny!

Just that there were recalls on turkey and romaine lettuce right before Thanksgiving. I definitely don't have Cesar salad most Thanksgivings, extra encouragement this one.
