Aja Monet is talking about Palestine, but her argument certainly has much wider applications.

It's a case of two peoples behaving like murderous assholes, and one of them has the force of the U.S. behind them.

@Closeted The question is, do you think she is right?

@Closeted Wow! a lot...and it is late...I'll get back to you tomorrow.

@Closeted doesn't matter what a few sympathetic Jews say. The Jews with money & power support Israel unconditionally regardless of how inhumanely they treat the Palestinians.

@callmedubious George Soros?

@callmedubious, @Closeted I like her argument. I think it could also be used to support the "Black Lives Matter" movement in the black community, and other situations where those in power ignore the plight of a section of the population allowing them to suffer unfairly.

@Closeted I didn't miss the point of the video. I just skipped to the root of the problem.

@Closeted Perhaps not, Small point but the links were not there when I made my comment.

@permanwilson
That's true. I remember reading a comment by B.Streisand in which she expressed some sympathy for the plight of the Palestinians. That has to be more than 10 yrs ago.
I think people like her are told by those with power & influence that they would prefer her to support israel. B/c I can't think of even 1 rich or influential Jewish individual to say anything even mildly critical since.
