Okay single folks, how are you spending Valentine's day? Or as I call it, "Single Awareness Day"? Don't give me shit for calling it Valentine's day either........"saint" or not, I like the candy!! I think I'm dressing up, and taking my single happy ass to the Phoenix Art Museum. There is supposed to be some fun for all happening there!

Good Luck and Prosper on Saint Valentine Day.

Valentine's Day is my mom's birthday too so I'll be taking care of her. I also might be going on an undate with an ex girlfriend after work in the morning

It's just another day. Whatever happens or comes up is what i will be doing, just like any other day.

Well, I would love to actually have someone to spend VD with at some point. It seems like a great way to spend a day. That being said, I guess I'll just have a couple of drinks and watch Hallmark.

Probably on Skype to my ex girlfriend of 15 years - she lives 2000 miles away. We have no intention of getting back together but we're both single and we enjoy a chat and will probably have dinner together online 🙂

With myself, holding myself? Fuck if I know, most likely won't be with any significant other type of person for certain. Probably just smoke some green and forget what day it is lol.

I've told some people that I like to celebrate Al Capone Day.

I'll be spending it recovering from the flu with kids in various stages of said flu. Tamiflu is the valentine of choice for us this year.

I'm meeting a friend for dinner, and I'm staying away from wearing anything red.

It'll just be a normal working day. I've never received many Valentine's cards even when I was married (bit of a clue as to past tense) so don't expect tomorrow to be any different. But then again I may be surprised, if I am I hope she leaves a sizable clue, I'm really useless at spotting who likes me (see ex wife thing again!) lol

Just like any other holiday, it's just another day to me.

You do not need a day with a special name to enjoy all that you have stated and can do it on any day you choose.

I will be at work. Then I will come home. My cats will be happy to see me. I'm okay with that. I have zero feelings about the "holiday" -- positive or negative. If I was partnered and received flowers or a night out at a fancy restaurant, I would appreciate the gesture. But, I would not at all expect it.

I usually don't do anything on Valentines day. But I do take my daughter out every year for valentine's day. We just use it as an excuse to go out to a really nice place and get dressed up lol

Digging holes for a clothes line.
Then going for a nice walk with my dog.
I do love museums and art galleries though, I take a small sketch book and draw.
Enjoy singlearity.

Nice! I'm down here in Tucson. I'll be busy studying for exams, so it'll be a great time.

I've never really cared for the holiday. I find it odd that we feel obligated to go out of our way/above and beyond to make one single day out of the year special for someone we care about. I do nice/special things for my SO throughout the year when I feel compelled to do so. I think it's the small things that matter most anyway. I don't need a big whoop-dee-doo. I would make plans to go out if I knew of an anti-Valentine's Day event.

All of the holidays are made up. So I'm gonna do for VD what I did for xmas. I'm gonna buy a "holiday clearance" bag of Hershey's Kisses. Then I'm gonna 'accidentally' (this time) lose them in my Jeep. Then every few days, the Chocolate Fairy will reward me with a few Kisses for not ramming my Jeep into deserving assholes on the freeway.

Watching the Bolshoi?

I expect I will do the same thing I would do most other nights, watch DVDs or mess around on Facebook, although going to the art museum is possible.

It's just another day
