Yes!

No one depicted is morbidly obese, though.

I think the world would be alot better if we could at least tolerate / not judge even THIS much diversity, however.

Women are wonderful.

I love this cartoon! The first time I saw it, it came with a super-caption that admonished folks to stop saying things like 'Real women have curves'--because "skinny girls are not imaginary."

I look most like the one on the far left (not as tall, tho). I get a lot of side-eye from women, who look at me like I'm the very embodiment of the "unrealistic ideal" that causes them such anguish--and I'm fat-shaming them just by existing.

I've done enough poking around to know that the "body-positivity movement" proper is not intended for me. That sucks, but I get it, and I'm not butthurt over it. This cartoon is more representative of what I think the body-positivity movement should be.

It's in the eye of the beholder.
But there's some discrimination there. None of those bathing beauties are within 100 lbs of some of the beauties I see pushing shopping carts around my grocery store.

Just so you know, there is a great likelihood that those larger folks have been abused as children, and being a larger person is defense against being hurt again. Now take a look at those larger beauties in your grocery store with some compassion and maybe that will improve your vision.

@HippieChick58 ,
That,s true.
However, I can imagine some politically correct individual insisting that they be included.

Your absolutely correct about that. Every enlightened mind should be able to see that. ? that closed minds can't.
