I have just finished supper at my son's house. For pudding we finally finished off the last of the Christmas Pudding, brandy butter and brandy cream. Phew!
How many others still have left-overs to plough through?

Christmas ham, christmas cake still in the fridge. I shall make a salad with the ham and nibble on the cake for days.

I had a large piece of a special recipe spice cake with lignon berries that I was looking forward to finishing off today. Went to the kitchen. Lifted the cover from the box. No spice cake. I'd kill him, but he's my only son.

Sounds like the saga of my specially saved piece of chocolate and my only wife! ?

Kill him anyway because soon enough there will be another Christmas coming around. Just kidding.

Well, I have a bowl of cut up fruit in the fridge. I think in a couple more days it may be wine. That stuff probably should have gone last week.

Home brewed wine - how wonderful, ?

How about some alcohol and ice cream or whipped cream with it?

@Jolanta I do have cream, I could whip some up. Hmmmm.

@HippieChick58 Sounds lovely. If I did not live so far away, I could come over and try it.

I do! More cinnamon rolls than I'll eat in a month, plus half a crockpot full of beef roast and veggies.

So why do we overstock?

@Petter I'll blame my ex-wife and my daughter.

@tnorman1236 Yeah. These bloody women have a lot to answer for
