You know you're getting old when you see 45 and think that's too young. Lol

I think a whole lot of unsavory things when I see or hear him - but none to do with age !

You know you have gotten old when you start using the phrase "I remember when."

Yeah the outer limit of what I regard as age-appropriate is expanding as I age but it still hasn't gotten past 10 years. My wife is 2 years younger than me and it's a good fit. We're in the same place. Also, my daughter is 40 and anything close to that would weird her out -- and probably should.

I don't judge May-November romances but I can't see the percentage in them, either. To each their own.

Oh, honey, at 45 I was struggling with the aftereffects of my stroke, big-time. Life is much better now, at 70.

Old age isn't for sissies.

Thanks, I needed that one. :/

I think as we grow older being open to a wider age gap makes sense..
For me now, its more about the connection.

One thing I have noticed is that the years add maturity. I am 68 years now and not at all the same person I was even a decade ago. Age brings about growth and inner peace. The older I am the more understanding I am of the world around me. We loose body but gain mind.

Yes. Maturity is a function of age.

Well said. And I'm totally ok with the process...

If age is still an issue, you're not old enough yet.

What about when you realize you are the same age as 45 and you have logic and are not senile while 45 appears to be a moron whiny baby.

Sorry. I saw "45" and answered as if the question was about Trump. As for relationships my ex will be 41 this year and my oldest daughter is 53. I'm attracted tremendously to a woman in Jersey who is soon to be 55. If I was rich I would marry her.

That is the absolute youngest I will consider and even then it's unlikely. I prefer 5 years plus or minus.

Make it seven years, hunny-pot?

@Lop-Eared-Mule You fall within the 10 year min/max.

If you're older you must be a bit immature to match with me LOL

Yeah....ouch. I usta see this gal......she has said she has lost interest in sex. She's 42. Double ouch.

Generally speaking, I've learned that the actual number doesn't really matter. It's when the age difference happens, like say, 15 and 25 (yikes) versus say, 45 and 55. It's about emotional maturity and where they are mentally in their life's journey. That said, I'm finding more and more issues with men more than 10 years my junior or senior, for differing reasons including sexual performance and general health concerns. What a friggin mine field dating is.
Ugh.

Yeah....ouch. I usta see this gal......she has said she has lost interest in sex. She's 42. Double ouch. I see "lil' hotties" and I think...hmmmmm I sure would like to".... before I can finish the thought, I'm like, forget it, it' ain't worth it teaching her adult stuff.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I have no interest in women under 45. I'm not having a problem with women ten years older because they are mostly dead already.

@Anonbene women outlive men, so it's not likely you'll find an woman that is older than you who ISN'T alive.

The only problem I have with younger women is when I make cultural references that are older than them.

Disclaimer: the temporary spouse is 16 years younger than me.
