My divorce went smoother and cheaper than the divorces of many others I know. The marriage was so unpleasant, I have a "nevar again" attitude.

On-line divorce applications make sense to me. People should not be forced to endure each other's company just because they were once optimistic and naive.

The main man behind that one was Howard Greenfield, and Neil Sedaka provided his styling input. He and Neil worked on several as partners in the early 1960s that hit the charts. Howard did more well known songs than most. Quite a talented guy.

Neil Sedaka who sang the original.

Neil Sedaka. Wow, getting the lawyers out of divorce, how civilized.

And money saving, big time.

I filled my own divorce papers. The whole thing cost, like, 135 bucks or so. The key is ; can you successfully negotiate a separation agreement so the petition is not contested? It helps if you don't have any kids under 18.

@zeuser And if the assets are amicably split and the government isn't involved. My divorce included a minor, dispute of assets, and government pension. Oy vey.
