The first step is the hardest.

I was fortunate enough to have a daughter who never hesitated to question everything. She made me rethink a lot.

@Byrdsfan Lucky you! My son was never as bold, and while my daughter didn't challenge me often; when she did, she prepared a bibliography to support her arguments.

Well, yeah. I have written quite a few times about how since becomign "single" the last time, I decided to look at the things I didn't like about myself, and the area where I didnt' live up to my own expectations, and slowly change those one by one. The theory, is as I changed I'd like myself better and be happier. Beign happier, I'd seem more attractive to others.

As it turned out, as I grew to like myself more, I no longer felt th need to have someone in my life to "complete me", as I already felt complete. My life still coudl be enhanced by a relationship0 with th eright person, but I am already happy and dont' feel a need to be a relationship to be happy.

Always. And all it takes is the emotional capabilities (strength) to reflect about who we really are as demonstrated by what we do.

That is a very honest and true statement.
