CNN has quoted the NYT that the FBI has opened an investigation of 45 being a Russian asset, which I have always thought he was involved in money laundering. I heard that Trump before prez had a German Bank account. They said Germany fined Trump for laundering Russian money. Thing are really getting nuts everyone!

You have to wonder how many GOP congressmen and senators are under Russian control as well sense they will back him no matter what he says or does.

McConnell must be one of them. His office is back to not answering the phones. He's MIA and his approval rating is down to 17%. Maybe we can vote his sorry ass out this year. But McConnell backs Trump on everything. Stupid sob.

I've followed his business dealings since the late 1980s just because of how horrible a person he was. I wondered if he would ever end up in jail because of his borderline legal practices often stepped over the legal line but he seemed to always get away with it. I have thought he was a Russian asset for a while now as well. I was horrified to see him elected. When he came out of his meeting with Putin that lasted 2 hours without anyone else present I had no doubts left. I would just assume Russia knows everything Trump does as far as secerts go. He is clearly a traitor to me.

@jesse, did you see the clip on Rachel Maddow where Trump can remember names of countries that Putin has an interest in? Surprising how that worked.

It is impossible for Trump to get a loan in the US as he is noted for going bankrupt and not paying his loans back. He went to Germany because he was backed by Russia, Russian money was going through the account, but no longer as they have shut him down. Trump has been laundering money first for the Columbian drug people, then the Panamanian drug people the Russians and the Arabs. Several countries have given him money for future work in their countries, all laundering money for rich people. Trump apparently can give a better rate since he works in real estate that appreciates. Russia has had trump on the books for years, he wants a hotel in Moscow so bad he is willing to see out the US. Read the Panama Papers, There are plenty of documents stating this and all the other stuff he has done.

Like we haven't known that from the beginning. One of my early posts here, well over a year ago, I called Trump The Siberian Candidate, and I got comments of a negative kind, but I have thought so from the very beginning. Trump is the most audacious Russian subsersive operation ever, and had Trump been less stupid he might have gotten away with it. Putin all but admitted it. It's shocking.

@powder Does Russia benefit from an unstable US? Does the sun shine?

Trump has destabilized NATO, sought to remove sanctions against Russia, is seeking to pull out of Syria, blurted out classified info in front of Russians in the Oval Office, is now seeking legitimize Russia's invasion of Afghanistan in 1980, in private conversations with Putin that Putin no doubt has recordings of, trying to help Russian oligarchs of Putin, and generally overthrow the western alliances which have kept the USSR and now Russia in check for 70 years, and so on and so forth. But don't reply to me saying all this is wrong. Just keep watching the news.

@powder asset= a spy and 45 is like a Russian traitor to US. Look AT THE DAMAGE 45 HAS DONE.

@David1955 that is why 45 is an asset. Russia is broke and wants some former uSSR country, Russia needs people and wants ukraine and Syria to annex with Russia. 45 really helping Putin.

@AntaresRose yes, I left out Ukraine, which Trump and his buddies like Manafort, are happy to let and help Putin annex. My list was hardly exhaustive, just off the top of my head. You are very right about Russia broke under Putin, so steal to top up, and a compliant dupe in the White House is just what was needed. To have grown up in the Cold War and live to see a Russian flunky as President in the US. Unbelievable. Truth really is stranger than fiction. @powder

@David1955 , Fox news. All lies all the time.

@freeofgod FOX isn't news just right wing propaganda. As an Australian I apologize for Rupert Murdock and what he has done to the US.

@powder I'm not an apologist for US Imperialism, or the sins of the US Establishment, quite the opposite. I'm a socialist, and would like to see the good people of the US rise up against the US military industrial corporate political complex that rules over them. But Trump is an authoritarian who seeks to inculcate authoritarianism, to destroy western values, and who doesn't give a damn about ordinary people, in fact he has spent his life walking over them and screwing them over. He's blackmailed by Russia and serves their interest. How could anyone with a brain defend that?

@powder I did not come up with Russia broke on my own. I got it from an interview on CNN. Putin is not broke, the Russian people are broke, plus they do not have the population that they once had. I have a great imagination, but don't make up politics. i get it on CNN primarily and news sources on the internet.

@powder these things he has resisted and others in government have done them. Honestly! What are you going to say when the whole ghastly truth comes out, as it will, as it is doing? It's all fake, I suppose? You remind of religious people I've encountered. Doesn't matter how much history or fact you mention, their Jesus is all true.

Trump may still get away with it. Those that support him drank the kool aid and they won't change their minds. Remember the shirts two men were wearing at one of Trumps feel good rallies." I'd rather be a Russian than a democrat". You can't change that kind of stupid.
