What would you do if you were in a crowd of people and you heard a person telling several others something that was completely wrong and that this information was critical in nature. Would you break in and correct him or just let it go!

Define 'critical in nature'

Say prior to an election for president and this remank is about the candidate.

@Marine in that case, no I wouldn't interject. I would discuss it or respond if a person was speaking directly to me, but wouldn't step in to a conversation that I was not already included in. Especially not a conversation about politics!

Only if it mattered, and I had sources to cite...and it wouldn't get me beat up, thrown out, or otherwise harmed.

I have a couple of times. Both times it had to do with gossip about something involving me, which l knew to be totally wrong, so both times l walked over, and set their asses straight. This is why l hate gossip.

I would correct critical misinformation.

I would correct them. There is enough ignorance and misinformation in the world. We are obligated to correct it when possible.

You mean at a Trump rally? You'd die.

Although I will be as polite as I can, and try not to belittle the person. Yes, I have, and will continue to interject when some one has some facts wrong.
I'm kind of a stickler about that.

Do you mean like in a church or something?

Great response.

Once again it would depend on what the information was about. If it was political in nature and a vote was coming up I might break in and correct the man. On the other hand if he was talking about how to make cookies I would ignore him.
